Pieter van Boom
Pieter van Boom, born in 1958, was appointed managing director of the Bartels group in 2001.
He is a structural engineer, graduated at Delft University and active member of FIB, Stufib, betonvereniging, NL-ingenieurs.
During his 25 years in the design business, Pieter worked on an array of projects, many of them in international design teams. Pieter is particular interested in high rise and precast concrete structures.
Pieter has been active in international projects and business development during the last 10 years.
Major projects: Every project is major to me. Working closely with clients and colleagues is what drives me. My personal goals in projects are to deliver design and to advise that offers the best value for client. Buildable solutions in details and challenging, out-of-the-box structures in concept.
